Founder
Theresa Mirell is the founder of BlissfullyBalanced, a financial planning platform helping couples confidently manage the financial complexity of planning a wedding. She founded the company after planning her own wedding and realizing that while endless tools exist for inspiration and checklists, couples are completely on their own when it comes to organizing wedding finances. The insight that started it all: when her mother asked when it would be most helpful to send a check, Theresa had a vague idea and a spreadsheet instead of an answer.
Her thesis is simple: wedding planning has planning software. It doesn't yet have a financial operating system.Before launching BlissfullyBalanced, Theresa spent more than two decades leading strategy, technology, operations, and transformation across high-growth startups and public companies, including serving as Senior Vice President of Business Enablement at Clover Health and holding leadership roles at Pivotal Software and Accenture.
She lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her husband, two stepsons, and their Rottweiler, Athena.
